Overclocking PNY GTX 770 Not Working

Tonight I finally decided to overclock my graphics card, but after following JayzTwoCents' tutorial from last year exactly and raising my core clock by 100 MHz in MSI Afterburner, my 770 performed exactly the same in the Valley Benchmark, leading me to look at the core clock history, only to find out that it remained at the same 1137 MHz that it was at before I supposedly overclocked it.  Any insight into why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated!
