HDMI Problem on Dell monitor.

I have a Dell ST2220L monitor that is 4 or so year old. About a year ago my PC needed to reboot and when it did my HDMI port on my monitor stopped working, kind of. The HDMI port works when I connect it to my PS4, but stays in sleep mode when plugged into my PC or PS3. Using the SAME cable. No matter what HDMI cable I use, it produces the same results. So I am going to say it is something wrong with the monitor. I contacted Dell Support. They were no help, as I got the monitor from Staples and it does not have a service/repair number that they apparently NEED.
