Hey everybody.

So I´m using power-line adapters all around my house(4). I have 3 receivers with Iptv and a 50k internet connection. It all works fine but i get random connection errors. the errors occur when I have multiple devices(phone, tablet) connected via wifi and when I´m watching HD channels on the tv in my living room. It only happens in the evening when everybody of my fam is at home. If i switch back to SD channels it all works fine again. So you might think it happens bc my connection is too slow. It only happens in the evening tho.  I tested it when it was just me at home, turned on all 3 tv´s(only 1 with HD), watched HD streams on my phone, tablet and my computer. it all worked fine and i got a consistent speed. SO back to my question: The only devices that were missing are my mom´s, my brothers´s and my dad´s phone. Is it possible that 1 of those devices is somehow bottlenecking my whole internet? Or does anybody have an idea why this is only happening at night?

Thanks for answers and have an awesome day

If all of these adapters are coming from a single output on the router, a single ethernet port, then you will see slowdowns as traffic increases on that line. There are some devices that are also very hungry for bandwidth and will take whatever they can get. I've never heard of a TV doing this, but on my PC, some games will use up all of the bandwidth while installing updates. I've had to manually set speed limits on them so that they don't interfere with the rest of my network.

Hey, I know it's a bit off-topic but are you on the A>N Discord server?

To the OP, it seems like your network (gear) can't handle that many devices using it. Why it happens at night, idk. Someone might be visiting 'certain' sites at night and throtte the speed for others.

@JelleDekkers I don't use discord, sorry it's not me.
