The way I see it its just that the slot is a little shorter than usual,  I think its all in already.

Ah the cursed crucial ballistix sport DDR4.

 

I had the same problem.  You have to push down with equal force on BOTH SIDES.  If you push one side down a little more than the other, it will sieze.  This doesn't help that only one side has the retention clip/tab (why the F did they even design it that way).  For me I pushed down with a good 30 pounds of force to get it all the way in.
