Need suggestions for a graphics card

Billie_Ray

I bought an APU to get me started till I could get the funds for a dedicated GPU. I'm looking for a GPU that can do high settings, 1080p, and at least 60fps on most games. I figured this community could give me the best suggestions. My Budget: $150-$300. My System:

  • CPU
    AMD A10 7700K 3.4 GHz
  • Motherboard
    ASRock FM2A88M Pro3+
  • RAM
    8GB Corsair Vengeance 2133MHz
  • Case
    Rosewill SRM-01
  • Storage
    1TB WD Blue 7200rpm
  • PSU
    EVGA 500W

Yeah the RX's are looking good for my budget build but why would I go with a lower watt PSU?

The PSU the OP has is either an EVGA W1 which is shit or an EVGA B1 which is mediocre.

He got a 7700k look! Oh wait it's an AMD

RX 470. 460 should be fine but not all game at 60fps. Lower settings yes. My GTX 760 can play me catalyst at solid 70fps on low though 1080p

It might look bad but if you don't want to overspend money then keep it

Or else get a CX 450m or or any other cx white label

Because it is a much better PSU than the one you all ready have and you will not need the full 450W anyway.

Other great options include the EVGA G2, B2, GS, GQ, Corsair RMi/RMx/HXi, RM, SF, CX450/550/650M, Vengeance, Anything from Seasonic or XFX (excluding the XT) and Antec High Current Gamer.

Case PSUs can be good, Antec EA380 are Seasonic S12 II rebrands.

The EVGA W1 or B1 are not great, the EVGA B1 should suffice but I would recommended upgrading, if it is a EVGA W1, it will need replacing.
