Graphics Card Upgrade

I have a decent PC, except its graphics card is crappy. I am looking for an upgrade. There are some cards that run off the board, but to get a really good one, it needs more power. When I was looking inside my PC, I noticed an unused connector from the PSU running into an unused expansion bay. The wire is not connected to anything, and I was wondering if that could power a card.

A 750ti or 460 are both perfect for that situation. The 460 will get you a good amount more horsepower at a slightly higher price, so that's what I recommend.

Looks like you can upgrade to any GPU that has 1 6-pin connector OR a GPU that draws power through PCIe 

AS LONG AS you have a high enough wattage/quality power supply

 

Ex. RX460 (PCIe only) or EVGA GTX 1060 (6pin)
