What is a REALLY CHEAP HDMI Monitor?

TubsAlwaysWins

What is the cheapest HDMI monitor money can buy? I need one for my raspberry pi so I can SSH into my router from a dedicated box. Thanks. (Resolution/Refresh rate doesn't matter as long as it is like 480p/30Hz or above). Please no shit posts here. Im being 100% serious (Looking at the people who link me the $10,000 TV's and stuff). New or used, don't care

May I suggest also looking for a cheap vga monitor and getting a 5$ hdmi to vga cable adapter on ebay/amazon? Thats how I use my Pi. Otherwise look at newegg refurbs they sometimes go for super cheap.

What does the display need the gpio pins for?

I think it could be for power and the data transmission of the touch screen. So, if I am right, then you could use a micro usb instead of the gpio pins. ( Just putting this out there in case someone has the same question)

When/if you buy it. Would you mind posting on here how it goes? I also want to put a small screen on my RPi and it would be helpful if you posted your experience. Thank you.
