upgrading boot drive help.

Doing a few upgrades to my pc including getting a new motherboard and so naturally i need a new copy of windows 10. I am also putting an ssd as the boot drive to run the OS from, but will store everything else on a standard HD. Im comfortable setting this as the boot drive, but will i have to delete the Original OS from my hard drive that is already there? Will it cause any problems if i dont? If i do have to delete it how do I do this?

You dont have to delete thr os, just booyt from the ssd
