Safe temperatures for Corei7 6700?

While rendering a video, CPU is of course at 100% load. The temperature of my i7 6700 is at 68C-70C at 100% and at idle it is around 29C-30C.

The ambient temperature is 27C mostly, sometimes 29C.

Wanted to ask that if those temperatures are normal provided my ambient temperature?

What CPU cooler are you using?

 

It seems pretty normal to me unless you're using a pretty high end cooler.

Its perfectly fine. As long as its not above 80ish you aren't ever gonna have a problem.

Unsure what power supply to pick?

If you wish to lower them even more, you can get some cheap coolers like the Hyper 212 Plus/Evo, or the Cryorig H7.
