Got a free upgrade

My old gtx 980 killed itself somehow so I did an RMA with EVGA. 2 weeks later a gtx 980 ti comes in the mail ayylmao. (pretty sure EVGA messed up hardcore)

 

Just a question, can I register this new gtx 980 ti, and still get the same warranty if it goes boom?

they might have upgraded your 980 to a 980ti intentionally. asus sent me a 390 strix when i RMA'ed my 290 reference :D.

Oooohh haha. I thought you just randomly got a new graphics card shipped to you without them knowing that your current one was broken. That would've been weird. xD
