Fan Curve Doesn't Save

After updating to the most recent drivers I say my temps hit 75C and my fans on my GPU were not changing RPM. I went into Precision X and I have my custom curve set and auto on but as soon as I exit the program it doesn't follow the curve. If I stay in the program it does. Should I use afterburner or something?

Just keeping this here as a
