Help!!

So I am building my PC and want to buy 1 or 2 parts every month so will my any part die because it will be in its box for 5 to 8 months? Like the graphics card and CPU?

I was able to do exactly this. Built my machine over about 6 months. Everything was fine. Only problem is the parts you buy early on are going to lose their warranty.

EDIT: Also its worth mentioning by the end of it, the last parts I bought, some of my original design choice parts already went off the market by that time. I was able to build the machine no problem, but I did have to sub out a few parts from the original design.
