Hello, I'm new to the forum (I watch LTT videos, though) so I Don't know its the right place to be.

Now, as the title suggests, I'm planning to upgrade my GPU. My GPU is currently Zotac GT 210 1GB. My PC is HP Compaq DC7900 CMT ( https://goo.gl/86RkLF ). All specs are same except the RAM being 5GB. Please suggest me a GPU that suits my PC. Thanks!

CPU- Intel core 2 duo e8400 @ 3.00GHz

RAM- 5 GB DDR2

HDD- 160GB x2

PCI Slot: x16 2.0

PSU- 365 W

BTW i'm also planning to upgrade RAM to 8GB And CPU to Intel core 2 Quad Q9650. Suggest me better if you can!

Ryzen 5 9600x | Asrock 9060XT 16GB OC | Gigabyte B850M Gaming X WIFI32GB DDR5-5200 | SDEJava & Golang

anyone got a spare job here?

Do you have the full tower shown or the smaller tower? Only certain cards fit in the smaller form factor so we need to know. Welcome to the forum!

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

i read somewhere that these cards will be bottlenecked by my CPU.

Also, i have found GT 730 2GB Gddr5 would match it. is it a fine card?

Im not a hardcore gamer, playing games like grid Autosport, dirt 2, dirt 3, FIFA, etc.

RX480 vs GT 730....

That gpu would be useless... my Intel HD gets a better score

I have the Mini tower. there is no bigger model than that

Ok So HP and Dell kinda suck when it comes to allowing compatibility with upgrades... But I've managed to make most everything I've upgraded work. (Not looking to break that streak.)

Thankfully, the PCI-e slot has enough room to fit most short length cards. (thats what she said)

a GTX 750 Ti or GTX 750 are probably your best bet since your Power supply couldn't support a card that needs external power.

You could go with something slower, like an R7-240 from AMD or a GT 740, but a GTX 750 ti (one that does not require external power) would be the fastest card I would go with.

Cheers!

A GT 730 really isn't that great.. Might as well stick with built in graphics until you can build a new system.

GTX 750 is what I usually recommend for the core2 Duo systems.

MAYBE a GTX 950 if you get that core2 Quad anytime soon.

Nvm. Thought the 950 didn't need external power... Come on nVidia...
