HD 280 Pro question

Alright so I just got these sexy Sennheiser HD 280 Pro today, and I'm realizing one little thing : there is a definite left and right cup, problem is, the cable is attached to the left cup. My PC sits on my right, which means that the cable crosses over my body when I wear the headphones the way they were designed to, and the cable is annoying AF. I'm just wondering if there is a way, I'm guessing with some software, to switch left and right? Like, the audio channel designed to be heard from the cup labeled as right is heard from the cup designed as left, and vice versa? or does these left and right labels don't mean shit and you hear the same exact thing from both? I fucking hate cables I swear.

As far as I can tell, there's no easy way to do this unless you've got some kind of driver that allows it in your audio settings. If that isn't the case, a quick google tells me you can get two splitters (Y female splitter and Y male splitter) and then physically reverse them.

So you buy the two splitters. You split the 1 cord into two, then reverse the colors, turning 2 cords back into a 3.5mmjack. Will it work? No clue :D

Yeah, my R70s have two cords... so I am screwed EITHER WAY :D You just get used to having a cord across your chest.

Some thing are nice across the chest hehehe... but not a god damn cord. Well it's better then the fuking cables I had to deal with for like 3 years on my previous piece of shit headset

Hehehe I know, worst thing is that it's so annoying I can't think of anything else but fixing this shit while orphans in africa die of starvation and shit

you could just move your pc or use some cable management and put the cable under the PC desk and let it come out on your left side, if the cable is long enough for that.
