Hi guys, an old friend gave me a pretty lovely alunimum Thermaltake case, with it's original 360 radiator, and all of the stuff needed to cool an Athlon 2 (Yes, its old), however, upon closer inspection, everything is completly clogged with algae and other dirt stuff, as a newbie, how do I go about cleaning this all, completly, I have read about bleach, but it will apparantly turn the rubber hoses yellow. Thank you in advance.

I would replace the tubing completely.

It's old, dirty and new tubing isn't exactly expensive :)

Apart from that i would try to clean the rad first, that should give you a sign how the overall status of the loop is.

But then again i'm not an expert either :D

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

As mentioned you will want to toss all of that tubing and take apart all the blocks for cleaning. For stuff like copper using a saturated solution of salt and vingear work really well. for other things using a diluted vingear solution would be best.

The thing that is probably worth the most value would be the pump even though it looks like a bit of an off brand, the block and possibly the fittings but it does look like a DIY loop like they were done back in the day before they had dedicated watercooling components. If you were interested in DIYing a ghetto type loop it could work.
