anyone have use this board before have any opinion?

One is $300 the other one (the one i have) is $150. I love mine, idk how it compares BIOS and features wise, but it looks very similar

deluxe looks to have slightly more storage slots, better onboard audio, and an integrated wifi card. the main difference is the deluxe has twice as many power phases (16+2 vs 8+2), so you get cleaner power delivery at lower tempuratures. honestly, theres very little difference between the 2 unless you are looking for extreme oc; otherwise 8 phases is enough for normal oc, especially with skylake being more efficient

yeah im not gonna be extreme overclocking so i guess the 150$ board would be good. wish they have on board wifi for the z170-a as well though that would be nice

There are a ton of reasons to get the Deluxe over the Z170-A. better OC, better RAM OC, wifi, debug code, more on board buttons for various features, a lot more connectivity, a lot more peripherals in box (such as M.2 riser card and Hyper Kit), and so on.

I faced this decision 6 months ago when I built my computer and got the Z170-A. Knowing what I know now, and what I want out of my computer I wish I had gone for the Deluxe back then (but I also have a top of the line computer, so it was reasonably within my budget to get a better motherboard should I have decided to do so, no reason for you to break the bank). That being said, Z170-A is a great board and certainly a good option for those who want a similar board but without all that fluff to inflate the cost.

well i know and yeah i meant cheaper. also is it worth the wait till blackfriday?

Depends if you can live without it until black friday? that is only something you can decide. Get it now and begin enjoying it right away, or get it later and maybe save a few bucks. entirely your decision.

i've never shop for computer component  during blackfriday before so i wouldn't know how much it'll be off, and if its like a few bucks off then i would rather get it now. (second time building a pc)

I built my first pc in march... I've not been through a black Friday sale either though. That being said, SOME things can be outrageously cheap on black fridays. I've had friends who buy a TV for like 75% off on black fridays. There are also going to be things that won't be on sale on black friday at all. there isn't really any way to predict it ahead of time (as far as I know). I would wager a safe bet would be that if it is going to go on sale, it wouldn't be more than 10-15% (if at all), but again it could be much more or less. It certainly wouldn't get any more expensive between now and then if you wanted to wait to test your luck.
