asus gtx 970 strix

intel i5-6500

kingston hyperx fury black 16gb 4x4gb

asus 170-pro atx bios ver 0906

wd blue 1tb

evga supernova 750w

 

today i was playing gta v and my computer blue screened it rebooted into windows all was fine maybe 2-5 minutes later it did it again i tried one more time did it again. I have put 2 sticks of new memory in it three weeks ago and updated my gpu driver a week ago

download bluescreenview and run it. It'll show you what's causing the BSOD.

 

That BSOD is semi-generic. It could point to a hardware defect as well, predominantly memory or CPU.

 

Running Memtest86+ for a full night would be a good place to start.

I know its 4 years later but to update. The motherboard had a defect and NCIX replaced it
