how to connect an android device to wifi without mac address

I own a Asus Zenfone 2 laser (z550kl) and I want to connect to my home wifi. I dont want to register the MAC Address, is there any way that i can connect ? Thank you

From what I'm reading, it's not possible without rooting your phone. That said, I'm not exactly an android expert.
