HDD's not detected

Go to solution Solved by Beeeyeee,

go to search, type in "disk" and find "create and format disk partitions" then you'll find your drives there. right click on the area where it shows the size of the drive and click Neww simple volume, then you should be good!

Hi all,

I can't seem to get my two HDD's to be detected after fresh install.

Both drives were formatted when I reinstalled windows 10 pro but they aren't detected and I can't seem to get them to come up.

It says something like partitions don't exist.

Does anyone know how to remedy this?

One drive is a SSHD and the other is a 2.5"hdd from a laptop.

Have you only checked through windows explorer or have you also checked through disk management?

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB

NVM , I just found the disk manager but the drives don't show there either... :/

what type of SSD do you have? Some PCIE SSD's disable some SATA ports when in use. ANY properly connect drive should show up in Disk Management.
