PC refusing to shut down properly

Just finished building my pc, installed win10, some drivers, steam and battle.net. Long story short, it doesn't want to turn off fully. When I turn it off the mouse stops glowing, but keyboard doesn't (it's really weird, because only 1 button keeps on shining, while the rest of backlight disappears), my monitor doesn't turn off until I press the button on it, and something inside my pc glows too (I assume it's my motherboard). I don't think that this is normal, google search found me a few solutions but they didn't work. Maybe it has something to do with quick start. Had to shut off the power supply.

Thanks in advance. I really hope for an easy fix, but I can give full system spec if necessary.

It sounds normal. My mouse still glows but my keyboard turns off. My 27"goes to standby mode but the 32"says no signal and I have to turn that off.

Not a lot to be done. I think you might be able to shut off USB standby power if it's available in the BIOS to make your keyboard turn off.

A lot of motherboards have an led that is on all the time.

The power supply still provides 5 volts standby when off.

When Windows 10 is shutting down, it turns of the monitor and shuts down usually 20 seconds later after cleaning up and writing fast boot data to the hard drive, and also some motherboards don't fully shut off power when the system is shut down. When my computer is off (no fans or lights) my blu-ray reader still ejects and reads disks.

It's completely blown out of proportion. Also if you're the least bit worried about data gathering then you should go live in a cave a 1000Km from the nearest establishment simply because every device and every entity gathers information these days. In the current era privacy is just fallacy and nothing more.
