Right, overclocking though? And how about your budget? Not overclocking then look for an H170. Plan on purchasing the 6600k AND overclocking planned? First look into which features you like. USB 3.1 type C connector? M.2 SSD card slots? ATX or Micro ATX or even mini ITX?

i am gonna overclock. also i've pick the z170 but from what it looks there are other model of the z170 for example the z170-a or z170 pro gaming. also im going for asus z170 as it seems like the most pick

z170 just means the chipset. Based on my knowledge ASUS motherboards are nice and their overclocking tools are top notch, Linus likes these. Personally, I like Gigabyte. Really though, gaming motherboards and such are mostly fluff. Again, budget really determines that.
