Going back to windows 10

PetiteBob
Go to solution Solved by 79wjd,

Just install Windows 10 using your windows 8.1 key.

Ok as the title says I want to go back to windows 10. I had windows 8.1 and installed the free upgrade to windows 10. After I released that many of my programs did not work IE MYOB i proceeded to purchase windows 7. Now is there a way to go back to windows 10 without buying it?

I'd personally wait until all the windows 10 anniversary update crap is sorted out, but just using the 8.1 key should work if it does not contact MS

What anniversary crap? I've been using W10 anniversary on my SP3 and desktop for about a month and have had no issues.

Well issues with the update are not going to affect everyone, but many people have been having issues such a lag and crashing after the update as to what causes it specifically idk but it's common enough for me to see it as a potential issue to avoid
