I have a PSU that worked perfectly, before my brother sent it through courier and I suppose a person dropped it hard (really hard) AND when it reached me, it was not turning on! The PSU is corsair GS600 and it has costed me a fortune!

Is this repairable (and is out of warranty)? and please try not to suggest buying a new PSU as I can't afford to have one right now until it's the only resort..

The GS is probably still within warranty. When did you buy it?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I just found an antec 500w PSU, can it be right for my PC?

config:

i7 2nd gen,

8 GB RAM

XFX HD 6950 1GB GPU

2 x 80mm fans in the case, and a samsung 21' full HD monitor

(I do think it needs some more juice, but that's my pocket limit as PSUs in India are very costly) if you got any other PSUs, please refer it to me

I loved this PSU!! :/ are you sure it cannot be repaired, even if I had to pay for it

It's not a very good PSU so there's no reason to be attached to it :P

antec vp500w... I also saw corsair vs 650 (but doesn't seem reliable) and a cooler Master B600.. which is good among them?

The B600 is the best of those.
