XBMC media pc

I'm looking to build a micro ITX pc strictly as a media center to watch on my tv. I've read a couple of articles that you can boot straight to XBMC. Goal is sub 200$, display port (for 4k) I have a hardware list that fits my build just trying to figure out if i can do it without windows.

 

any help appreciated

Motherboard-Asus Maximus Formula VIII

Memory-16g GSkill Ripjaws V series 3200mhz

Graphics-Asus Strix 980ti OC

Power-Corsair HX750i

Storage-256g Samsung 950 Pro, 500g Samsung 850 Evo, 1tb Hitachi 7200rpm

Case-Phanteks Eclipse p400 Anthracite Grey
