do i want to build a laptop using the raspberry pi zero to see how cheap i can make a laptop but my problem right now is the screen. I wasnt looking for anything fancy obviously but every screen i found was around $30 and i was trying to find a screen for the pi zero that was $10. Also because this is a laptop it has to be able to run off power from the pi zero.

Look at laptop screens. You can get a hdmi to lvds and a old laptop screen pretty cheap..

 

 

Also idk why would would do this other than the fun of a project. The pi is slow and a old thinkpad/latitiude would be faster and cheaper.

for fun. the pi zero is $5. yo cant beat that price. Also i already have the power bank so i dont have to spend money on that

The vga ones are about 8 bucks, but hdmi will cost more. I have a vga one and its works great.
