Lost Admin Privileges

Hey guys!

 

So i've tried to change my Users folder name and I tried the registry method. I tried to edit the name, but an error came out and I just stopped trying. I then noticed that my account was no longer an admin, and I couldn't open things such as Command Prompt in admin. Does anyone have a solution?

Use a crack disk and remove the password of an administrator or set yourself up as one!

Does anyone else use your computer? Usually Windows forces at least one Admin account to be there.

I've usually seen a built in admin account that is disabled on windows so I enable it and clear the password to fix any issues, then, when I'm done I disable that account or put a password on it I can remember.

You have to have an admin account on the computer if not, try to save any important files on another drive, and reinstall windows.

I've tried the command prompt way to activate the "hidden" admin account, but it does not work. I am the only user on my computer and i've never had to put in a password to allow admin privileges.

I booted into safe mode and did a system restore to fix the problem.
