Hello Linus Tech comm

I'm thinking of getting a new PC around next month, and i haven't really been in touch with the spec and price around
i was thinking about building around the new gtx 1080, but i really dont wanna waste to much money also
can anyone give me some help on building the specs

i really want to stay as close at 2000$ max more or less with the new 1080 (cause im from indonesia, and usually the price goes up when it comes to my country)
and also u can exclude power supply from the build, cause my brother just gave me a corsair RM1000 that he didn't use, which i believe is more than enough for the power supply

i really appreciate all the help i can get, thank you :)

i would rather avoid shopping it online cause its hard to get the shipping to my country

I usually use this site for to check the price in Indonesia

http://rakitan.com/

intel i7-6700K Box w/o fan - 4,750,000

CRYORIG H7 - 450,000

Asus Z170-A - 3,065,000

Corsair CMK16GX4M2A2666C16 (2x8Gb) Vengeance LPX DDR4 - 1,260,000

WD SATA III Blue 1 TB - 620,000

NZXT S340 Black - 1,200,000

Galax GTX 1080 8GB DDR5X HOF (HALL OF FAME) - 9,950,000

These total up to 21,295,000 Rupiah

A lot of headroom to your budget.

I can't find SSD on that site so there's that.

Basically you can SLI 1080 with 30 million Rupiah budget, lol.

Just found the SSD.

Add A-Data SP550 240Gb for 918,000 and you're good to go, of course I can trim it down more if you need to.

Can get non-K processor and non overclockable mobo for cheaper, possibly can cut down to 20 mil.

Just make sure you do research on each individual parts first before pulling the trigger.

Good luck with the build.
