mouse Soldering a new mouse switch

Hello, I've got a question. I kinda broke my steelseries rival mouse, it's my right mouse button that doesn't work. My question is, can I solder of a switch from a different mouse and solder it on to my steelseries? or will that not work?

I'm sorry but I don't really understand what you are trying to say.

i am asking if the switch from the other mouse is the same on as the one from your steelseries. Because they might just not work together with the steelseries hardware/software

ah, well no its not from an other steelseries mouse, I have an old logitech mouse which I'm not using

yes is just a button, the  problem will be if they are same size or pin layout

same 3-pin and same size, hope it works. If not I can just ask my friend to get one of his old steelseries mouses and take a switch from that and see if it works

sometimes  the plastic that touch the button is the problem  and  not swich

I can guarantee that it's not the plastic, I've actually broken the switch.
