Yes, it's safe. The most you'll get are higher temperatures and decreased lifespan of the GPU.

alright thanks, what does it mean when Furmark crashe's? i used that OC and after like 5-10 mins it crashed .-. but i didnt get a driver crash message.

It means it's unstable, but I would not use Furmark for stress testing. It puts far too much stress on the hardware, and a pass in Furmark doesn't mean it passes in everything else(like video games). Use something else like Unigine Heaven or Valley, or some actual video games.

well i turned the clock speed down to 130 from 170. and didn't crash yet but the temperature kept going up to like 78C and looked like it was still going up so i backed off and went back to stock..

was gonna pick up the GTX 1070 soon
