Is this good?

DC

On the Newegg, I found this corsair builder 600w 80plus bronze atx psu. it is 57 dollars and it has 20 dollars mail in rebate. Is this a good quality psu to buy for single gpu gaming pc?

What are your specs? It's not a particularly good PSU and there's a certain cap where I wouldn't buy it, like if you were powering a GTX 1070 and i5.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.

It's an alright psu but there are probably better options available.

Are you shopping in the US?

Yes. I'm in Illinois if this matters. Suburb of Chicago

Actually if the rebate works out, the cx600 isn't a bad option,

A 450B1 would be a cheaper alternative though: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/MfvZxr/evga-450w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-100-b1-0450-k1

Another better option would be a s12ii 520w: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/TgW9TW/seasonic-power-supply-m12ii520bronze

I would recommend the CX450M (not 430w) model for your system. You could get it for $24.99 after MIR, atm.

It is a decent PSU, however there are better units for the money.

Another psu peasant needs your help

There should just be a filter, any post with the word "psu" or "power supply" should automatically tag STRMfrmXmn.

450w is more than enough for i5 6500 and gtx 1060?

Get the Seasonic M12II 520W fully modular...  it is $65 and very good quality.

Yes. It's more than enough. You could power a GTX1080 in there if you want.

I'd recommended the CX450M (again not the CX430 / 500 / 600 / M models) because it is price excellently well for a budget, modern DC-DC design PSU with a 5 year warranty.

Is this over budget?
