What is going on!!

Hello all im back once again with another question. So i built my pc and used a ssd fro my primary drive. I downloaded alot of programs including steam. I just installed a 1tb hdd as my d drive. I copied over my steam folder to my d drive from my c drive then tried to boot steam. It ended up installing everything over again into my user folder on my c drive. It also popped every folder and file on my desktop lol and its still not going to my d drive. Please help

you got to create a new steam library in steam

This^ once you create a new steam library on the new drive set it to the default library in steam then go ahead and put your old library there.
