Do you want to OC it beyond what it comes with?

The regular 8G model is the better OCer of the 2.

Im running my 8g model at +235 core and +1350  memory.

Which makes it a 2150 mhz OC while under load at 60-65C with a custom fan curve. (70% fan speed at 60C)

If you plan on running it with an Aura enabled motherboard, only 1 mobo supports controlling the gpu and aura plugged in LEDS together.

All other ASUS boards including ROG boards will make you use aura for mobo lights and Aura GPU for the GPU leds.

Other than that, good cards love all mine. And stay pretty cool with stock out of the box settings.

I saw 2 versions of asus strix on newegg one is 1503mhz speed for 430$ and one is 450$ with 1803mhz speed which one to buy ? money is not a problem

They are the same. One comes with a factory overclock, and the other does not. There is no special binning between the cards. If you intend on doing your own overclocking then the cheaper one is the way to go for you since you're not going to be using the factory settings anyway. if you're not going to be doing your own manual overclocking, then buying the one with the increased speeds will be a much better investment for you.

No its not. they should both be able to get to about the same level of performance under a manual overclock (silicon lottery aside)
