Bluetooth earbuds, sub $40

I want to get my son some bluetooth earbuds for his 15th birthday.  I expect he'll be using them only with his phone (music and YouTube). 

Preferences:

- $40 or under

- Short cord between the two (not like the long cord on my Jam Transit earbuds)

- Ear hooks would be nice. 

 

I could read reviews on Amazon and make a choice, but there are SOOO many options.  So I wanted to see if any forum members have any first-hand experience with some that are worth recommending.
