So I'm looking into getting my younger brother a computer this christmas and need some advice on what hardware to put into it...

I'm a student and I live in the UK, my budget is going to be £300-£350.

I have a friend who's old computer I asked to buy which has the following hardware:

GPU: 2x R9 270

CPU: A8 6600

Motherboard: Gigabyte (Don't know the model)

PSU: Novatech 1000w

Case: Cooler Master K350

RAM: 8GB (Don't know what brand)

I would have to put a HDD in which I have 2 or three old 2.5/3.5" drives lying roung and would also need to get a copy of windows 10 which I'm hoping I'll be able to do with my previous Windows Preview Key Microsoft sent me a year  or so ago.

As the title suggests I could also buy and build up a new PC from scratch and would love some suggestions on what hardware to use.

Thanks in advance! :3

Well what games does he play and the resolution...for 300 if he just wants to sell it id get it

knew there was something I forgot to mention, he's probably only gonna be playing on a 1920x1080 TV which is like 32" big. He likes stuff like warthunder, CS Go, DOOM, Gary's Mod, Star Trek online.

A decent little mix of stuff

Id honestly get the PC for 300 and then sell it for 520-550 and add a little more and for 550 you can build a really good PC
