Error 0xc000000f Windows 7 startup

My sister's laptop is nearly 7 years old. Its an Acer Aspire 4736G. It is running on Windows 7. Some time ago, when she booted it, she was greeted with the image below. Could anyone provide assistance to this problem?

i have no idea what that means, but have you tried following the steps the boot manager provides?

Its a laptop, it obviously didn't come with a Windows installation disc.

do you not have a spare installation disk around somewhere?

if not, you could try to find an iso of windows somewhere and make a usb bootable.
