Good Editing Headset?

So my motherboard actually came with its own DAC/Amp. I edit a ton of videos and I was just wondering what you might recommend for a great set of headphones that can go into either a 3.5mm or the big one I can't remember the dimensions of. I don't want to spend a terrible amount, but whats a decent $200-300 set thats reliable, comfortable, and sounds good?

Any decent set of cans which aren't marketed a 'dj' are fine, 99% of my mixing on headphones has been done with a set of hd280pro closed headsphones, The vast majority of the time I use a set of k8 monitors or a set of paper cone 3 way linear design speakers.

Grab some akg or autoitechnica cans, play your mix back on a couple of different systems, laptop.tv,radio shit headhpones etc and learn how your monitors sound compared to other references. Then you'll learn instinctively what your audio tracks might need compared to your monitor system.

akg  k240's are hard to go wrong by

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige
