Ok, so just confirmation. I dont want to have to send in my shiny new cpu and wait even longer. I have an Asrock H97 anniversary mobo, with a pentium g3258. I just (10 mins ago) recieved my i5 4690k in the mail. ARE THEY COMPATIBLE

You cant really overclock, so its kinda pointless for you to buy a unlocked CPU

mmm... why did you not research before ordering this?, anyway this i5 should be able to multitask decently, but don't expect to render a video in the back ground while playing a game.

ok thanks... but i did research. i was just wondering if anyone had experience with this cpu that i could actually talk to
