What is a cheap yet fairly reliable hard drive that's not going to die on me after like a year of use? I would like for it to be at least 2tb and maybe no more than $80. It doesn't have to be name brand as long as it's reliable and stable. I prefer 7200RPM and above so it has fairly good speeds as well.

partial truth actually.
i cant seem to find WD Blue in a 2tb version

Yeah I can't find it either. I would go with a 1tb but I already have a 1tb and I'm looking for something to replace it but I also want more storage space on top of it.

All hd's are about the same. Just get what ever cheap 2tb your find and make sure you have backups.

5400 vs 7200 doesn't make a big difference.
