Turn off and unplug the PC at the wall. Open PC up. Remove the coin size battery. Wait 30mins. Put the battery back in. Close PC. Plug back in. Turn back on. BIOS password should be gone.

can you reset the bios password as i have forgotten it and want to over clock my CPU

its a desktop pc fyi

If you have a laptop open the cover at the bottom of your laptop and pull that batterry out for 30 seconds then inserted again and then put the cover back on then open your laptop, done!

remove coin size battery or flip the 3 pin jumper in the bottom right of it, do either for 40s or more, put the battery or jumper back in its original position, reconnect power and done
