PC does not post

Hey,

I just transplantedd my PC into a new case and I'm going though some problems. I have checked all the cables , my fans are spinning my GeForce gtx960 is working (the lights are on) but on there is  nothing showing up on the screen! Any idea on what's probably going on?

Could be almost anything in the system, double check the connections, make sure everything is plugged in right.

Hmm..The CPU cable is plugged in correctly, so for the 24... I'll check the ram modules but I'm not very optimistic

If your motherboard has on board graphics try that the drivers for your video card may not be installed.

A ram issue would be accompanied by a constant beeping noise of the buzzer.

try booting off of integrated graphics if possible. GPU could possibly be an issue. Play around with the ram; take 1 stick and try it in dimm 1, then dimm2, so on, then repeat with the other stick.

not if there isnt a motherboard speaker.

That wouldn't cause it to not post windows will pick it up as a basic display adapter and provide drivers for it, as well as most linux versions.

I wish people installed the buzzers it's a very crucial part of troubleshooting these issues

What motherboard are you using? How are you connecting to the monitor? Is the monitor getting signal at all?

Oooohhh sh!t!!! It worked ! Turns out a ram module wasn't installed correctly...Thank you SO much! For a sec I thought I bricked the system

Good to hear it! Double check in your BIOS to make sure everything else is detected and working properly too just as a precaution.

Oh gosh an incorrectly installed ram module. Brings back memories to my pc repair class where someone did that and caught the system on fire... not a good day
