Help with motherboard and processor compatibility

I wanted to know if a core i7 6700k would be compatible to work with my ms-7693 motherboard but i think only amd processors are compatible, i have tried doing some research but maybe someone knows the answer?  please send help and thank you.

No, they use different sockets and are not compatible.

For the 6700K you will need the Z170 platform with a 1151 socket. It requires a new mobo and RAM as others mentioned but rest you can migrate ofcourse.
