Hey guys! is there a way to partition the local drives in windows xp? as my local disk c has only 25 gigs and my local disk d had 50 gigs. is there a way to make another drive like drive z and then take some of the space of "d" and put it in z? like take 25gb from d and put it in z?

you have to redo everything

 

actually you should be able to extend and shrink volumes then create a new partition

I've never used this but it is the first result when I searched for disk partition software:

http://www.disk-partition.com/download-home.html

 

It looks like it should work. Windows XP by itself does not support resizing partitions. I take no responsibility if it breaks your drive though!

You should be. Their are sometimes problems with the built in windows disk management, sometimes for reasons of systems it self. You should know simple partition, right?
