If I remember right, isn't the 7870 MYST/Tahiti LE a cut down 79xx die?

I don't quite get it...

Tahiti LE performs significantly better than a 7870. The 7800 series uses Pitcairn and the 7900 series uses Tahiti. Tahiti LE is a slightly cut down version, therefore you get speeds near a 7950 but it retails for the price of a 7870 (at the time).

Still, I don't think you should be attacking other forums and/or members...

You are basically inviting them to come and trawl through our threads and find faults, obviously I believe we are a lot more reliable... but perfect?

That topic was from back in December 2012. Opinions and knowledge of those products could have changed by now.

Why was this post necessary? You chose one post from one user who is not affiliated with Tom's other than being a member there.
