I'm done lol I am such a fucking idiot. The 8 pin that went into the psu was upside down...

Hello

Today I build my brother his PC which is very similar to mine (same gpu) but his is skylake. Anyone, the fan on the card spin when plugged into his PC but don't show any display but when I tried it on mine it worked. I am pretty sure the cables are connected fully on his PC but thinking what it could be. I am thinking either PSU or Motherboard (they're both new) and the PSU has 500W where as the PC requires 300W

Download and install Nvidia 970 drivers if you can. After that use a different slot for the GPU.

Tried different slot and still didn't work and when I tried to install drivers it said no gpu detected

Is everything connected correctly? Try unplugging the system and removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard.

In your BIOS, there'll be an option to enable iGPU monitors. Select yes and connect your HDMI to the board. Once you're booted with the GPU attached, install.
