So my old aging computer has been having wireless internet issues and we got a new router at my mums and now I am unable to get a stable internet connection, it says I'm connected but he internet never works often failing to open webpages, this is not the case for any other device inclduinn my iPhone 6, it was somewhat working before the new router, what could be the issue?

you could try finding and updating the drivers for your wireless in your computer. also you can usually say something to your internet service provider and they will probably give you a wireless usb card of some kind for free.
