Update on the situation: Switched to windows 7 and know i can boot to the OS know the problem is extremely low unigine scores, im talking 11fps - 30 fps on 1600 x 900 extream which is just wrong. I have also noticed that in gpuz and catalyst only the second gpu is being used any ideas ?

Okay guys i don't know what else to do so I've decided to send something back I just don't know if this is a motherboard issue or a graphics card issue, so you guys decide I have added a poll to the post vote away

I have a crossfire set-up and check if the ULPS feature is disabled, run GPU-z and see if both cards have their total bandwidth avaliable if any of them has less then its the ULPS thats hindering your card, it happened to me I have 2 7870s .
