So around two years ago, I purchased an original SS rival, which was great-minus the rubber grips after about a year of use. After getting a replacement rival 300, there has been no issues with the durability of the mouse, however the sensor issues are very annoying. Currently I am using the 0.35.0.0 firmware, which is default from the factory I believe. I had upgraded to an earlier version when i first bought this mouse, which lead to random disconnects and weird flicking everywhere. After posting a thread on this reddit- link will be below- i received notice that i should downgrade the firmware back to 0.35. This version is tenfold better, with zero random disconnects, overall better accuracy, and none of the "smoothing" which i've heard happens in newer firmware. However it also does randomly flick/spin out every so often, and it has come to annoy me recently. My question is, has the flicking been fixed in the latest firmware? Or a newer firmware? If so what one? Also- i have a few close friends who also own rival 300s, and are on the newest firmware but reported the control of the mouse feeling very smooth, and not as raw as on the earlier firmware. When i first upgraded and was experiencing the issues, i noticed this as well. Has it been fixed? Anyways thanks for replies, will be awaiting- and here is the link to my original post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/4apsdg/steelseries_rival_mouse_disconnects_randomly_win/

Side note, i have video footage of the random flick that the mouse tends to do, and my mousepad used to be a QCK + for around 1.5 years, now its a QCK heavy.

I have Rival 300 and QCK+. This is the second Rival 300 I have because the first one had disconnecting problem, but it wasnt consistend and sometimes just didnt work out of nowhere. The replacement is now working fine and the software didnt seem to fix that. What goes to the flicks and flickering I have no idea if the newer software fixes that. Im using the 0.103.0.0 software and it works fine.

Thanks for the reply, have you used the older firmware? My biggest worry is the smoothing BS that ive heard about and experienced in newer firmware

Also here is a video clip of the issue, it happened in the middle of the round, when i was heading back up to heaven.
