CPU under 100 USD. Any advice is appreciated.

My current CPU of choice is the amd a10-7700k Apu, however I recently found a xfx 7870 DD so I wanted to find a slightly better CPU. Preferably under 100 USD and that doesn't bottleneck my GPU.

i3 6100 is a good deal which you can usually find somewhere for 100 or less, usually around 110 but it's worth it.

Since you chose the a10-7700k, I'm assuming that you want a CPU with the FM2+ socket. The AMD Athlon X4 860K is quad-core, boostable, and under $100 USD.

Go for the I3 6100. Only $20 over and so much better than the A10

People may have different experiences but i'm not a fan of Gigabyte mobos. Asrock or MSI are good though.
