Are there certain drivers and video codex that I should be using with Adobe Premiere? I can not get Premiere to load. It keeps hitting a start up error. Here is the error I get: Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again. I got Premiere to work with no video driver. That is not ideal, but as soon as I reinstalled my Nvidia driver Adobe continues to have the same issue. I have a Nvidia 760 that has no issues. Is there anything else I can try? I also completely uninstalled Premiere and that did not help.

Have you tried doing a clean install of the nVidia graphics drivers?

Yes I used DDU and then did a direct driver install from Nvidia that did not fix the problem. The weird thing is that Premiere worked when there was no driver at all.

You installed the latest driver from nVidia for your GPU, I assume.  What's your rig's spec?

Tried using administrator every time. I have an AMD FX-8350 with 16gb of ram and a Nvidia 760. I last used Premiere about 3 months ago and had no issues with it. Then when I tried to use it two days ago for a school project, the program gave me that error.

CS6 version stand alone. I do not know the exact version off the top of my head. I do believe when I reinstalled the program, I used the latest version off of Adobe's website.

Have you also tried doing a clean reinstall of Premiere?  You can download the cleaner tool off Adobe's website to do a cleanup of any leftover files after uninstalling.

Well I saw online that someone fixed the issue by going into the Program Files folder where Premiere was installed, looked for the Adobe Premiere Pro.exe file, right clicked on it and selected Troubleshoot compatibility.  After that, they opened the application again and it worked for them.

Another person checked to make sure Premiere was using the dedicated GPU to open instead of any integrated GPU, not sure if your AMD CPU has an iGPU.  Check your bios settings and GPU control panel, make sure they are all set to use the nVidia 760.

Another person said he solved the problem by making sure his firewall wasn't blocking Adobe Premiere Pro and its processes, like GPUSniffer.exe and dynamicklinkmanager.exe.

AMD FX series CPS's do not have a iGPU. I tried the troubleshooting compatibility hack and that did not work for me. I will try the firewall tweak latter when I get a chance.

@ALwin @SeanAngelo After messing around with firewall and doing an update through Adobe Updater, I am still have the same issue. The good news is that it is hanging up at Loading ImporterQucikTime.prm. Is there any way to correct this. I just thought this more information I could find you guys for help.

I don't know, perhaps you can ask Adobe about this.  Do you have Quicktime installed on your computer?

I should.

Have you considered upgrading to Adobe CC, even just for Premiere?

I saw online that someone reinstalled their GPU drivers and got it to work.  This time just download the latest driver from nVidia.  Don't use DDU to uninstall the old driver because nVidia gives you an option to do a clean install with all their driver installation files.  I believe it shows up when you select Custom installation instead of Express installation.

Also try uninstalling Quicktime and see if Premiere loads.

I do not have a legit version of premiere and do not use it enough to pay for the full version. When I get home today, I will try drivers again and force install Quicktime.
