Custom GPU Support

To preface this mod I just wanted to mention I don't think there is any harm to the graphics card sagging on the PCI-E slot especially because I don't move my case often. I decided to look around for GPU supports to stop the sag for the main reason of aesthetics. If it helps the graphics card and motherboard in the long run that's OK too. 

 

I mocked up a quick support out of steel, wrapped it in vinyl wrap I had lying around, added a foam top so it won't scratch the card, and finished with a rubber foot to keep it from sliding. So far I like the finished product and will start doing a final redesign for a smoother finish and even look.

the PCI slot will break after like 20 years of the sag so no need and that stick makes it look worse then without it.

why don't you use the PSU cables to stand your GPU ? 

 

the sleeve you have at the bottom allows it

 

once the window is put, the strings put a vertical pressure and hold the card

That's actually a great idea. I'm going to try it now. Amazing case by the way. My roommate had the all white non-customized version.

Couldnt get the cabled themselves to hold up the card so I covered the bracket with them and it looks way better.
